What is the Five Dollar Wiki?
The Five Dollar Wiki is a community of entrepreneurs, web marketers, and normal people who want to promote their busineses online and benefit from the collective traffic that's generated by other page-owners and our viral marketing.

How are you different from all the other paid wikis?
After every 1000 pages that are bought, price of each Page will increase in value.
Price of one Page will follow the following schedule:

- 2000 Pages sold - a new Page on the Five Dollar Wiki will be sold for $100
- 3000 Pages sold - a new Page on the Five Dollar Wiki will be sold for $150
- 4000 Pages sold - a new Page on the Five Dollar Wiki will be sold for $200
- 5000 Pages sold - a new Page on the Five Dollar Wiki will be sold for $250
- 6000 Pages sold - a new Page on the Five Dollar Wiki will be sold for $300
- 7000 Pages sold - a new Page on the Five Dollar Wiki will be sold for $350
- 8000 Pages sold - a new Page on the Five Dollar Wiki will be sold for $400
- 9000 Pages sold - a new Page on the Five Dollar Wiki will be sold for $450
- 10,000 Pages sold - a new Page on the Five Dollar Wiki will be $500
That mean if you bought 20 Pages today, value of your pages will be at least 10 times the original value when we have sold 1000 pages.

Who created the Five Dollar Wiki?
The Five Dollar Wiki was created by Max, a 27 year old techy, and couple of friends from San Francisco.
Instantly drawn to money making ideas online, Max and his friends started thinking about more practical ways to implement the MillionDollarWiki and MillionEuroWiki.
All credits go to the creator of the MillionDollarWiki, Graham Langdon, who started all the buzz.
Our difference:

As the saying goes, Max believes that by lowering the price of each page, the paid wiki will be available to 100% of the general public instead of to the 1%.
How does The Five Dollar Wiki work?
Every page on The Five Dollar Wiki has its own word or phrase. (e.g. http://FiveDollarWiki/My_Word)
You can use your pages to promote your website, generate traffic, and gain more exposure to the community members and others that come to see the website through our viral marketing.
Who owns pages?

Why do pages cost $5?
Your five dollars is an investment to the future of this site. It allows us to filter out a lot of SPAM and garbage that would exist if it were free. How long will the Five Dollar Wiki be up and running?
Five Dollar Wiki will be guaranteed to be up for another 15 years or more. We will hope to keep it running even longer.
Can I resell my Page for profit?
Yes, you can re-sell your Page(s). See our Reseller Guide.
What words are available for purchase?
You can purchase any word or group of words that does not already exist on the Five dollar wiki and fits the following criteria.
- Words cannot contain meaningless letter groupings like 'kjlhdhsdf'
- Words cannot contain unrelevant numbers (eg. accepted 'Web 2.0'; eg. unaccepted: 'Bread123')
- Words cannot contain punctuation marks except for a period or hyphen
- Words cannot contain unrelevant periods or hyphens (eg. accepted: 'non-disclosure agreement'; eg. unaccepted: 'Make-money')
- Words can be spelled creatively such as 'Dabomb'.
- Words cannot be offensive or X-rated.
- Words can be Non-Offensive slang words, such as 'sh*t'
- Words can use commonly used abbreviations or acronyms like 'DIY' for "Do-It-Yourself".
How do I tell if a word I want has been taken or not?

What is my page’s URL?

For example, if your word is "Golf", your URL is FiveDollarWiki.com/Golf
If you have multiple words like Nintendo Wii, you can buy page(s) with the two URLS to block against any future competition:

What am I allowed and not allowed to post on my page?
Whatever you put on your page must be significantly relevant to the word or phrase associated to your page. If you were to purchase the page for "Business", the entire page must be relevant to business.
Allowed:
- Text
- Images
- Links
- Blog feeds
- Music
- Videos
- Games
- Flash
- Google AdSense, BidVertiser, AuctionAds, etc...etc...
- Relevant ads.
Not allowed:
- Irrelevant content
- Pornographic or offensive content
- keyword spam such as viagra

This is because we want all of our pages to be of the highest quality. Your emails are always answered rapidly. We are completely dedicated to growing and will help you in any capacity we can. We also have a forum where you can get answers and join the community to get feedback, ideas and help for your page.
I purchased a page, now what?
After you buy a page, you will receive an email from us with your username, password, and link to edit your page. You will be ready to start building your page using the wiki editor (Which is exactly the same as Wikipedia's editor), or create your own html page for a more customized look. Please refer to the Owners Manuel for further information.
How do I add/edit content on my page?
After you've purchased your words, you'll receive a username and password, and a link to edit your page. You can use the built in wiki editor to quickly add text, images, links, and even youTube videos. You can also supply us with an html file and folder of images, that we will incorporate into your wiki page using IFrames. What kind of hosting does Five Dollar Wiki provide for pages?
The Five Dollar Wiki runs on a powerful dedicated server with Intel Quad-core CPUs and lots of RAM from Cari.net. The entire site is backed up daily. Data loss is not a threat to the Five Dollar Wiki.
