Wow, listen up guys. GOOGLE is trying to make a paid wiki concept called Knols Project! Basically it’s free but they are offering 50% ad revenue sharing. So in essence, it’s a paid wiki concept.

The web contains an enormous amount of information, and Google has helped to make that information more easily accessible by providing pretty good search facilities. But not everything is written nor is everything well organized to make it easily discoverable. There are millions of people who possess useful knowledge that they would love to share, and there are billions of people who can benefit from it. We believe that many do not share that knowledge today simply because it is not easy enough to do that. The challenge posed to us by Larry, Sergey and Eric was to find a way to help people share their knowledge. This is our main goal.

Earlier this week, we started inviting a selected group of people to try a new, free tool that we are calling “knol”, which stands for a unit of knowledge. Our goal is to encourage people who know a particular subject to write an authoritative article about it. The tool is still in development and this is just the first phase of testing. For now, using it is by invitation only. But we wanted to share with everyone the basic premises and goals behind this project.

The key idea behind the knol project is to highlight authors. Books have authors’ names right on the cover, news articles have bylines, scientific articles always have authors — but somehow the web evolved without a strong standard to keep authors names highlighted. We believe that knowing who wrote what will significantly help users make better use of web content. At the heart, a knol is just a web page; we use the word “knol” as the name of the project and as an instance of an article interchangeably. It is well-organized, nicely presented, and has a distinct look and feel, but it is still just a web page. Google will provide easy-to-use tools for writing, editing, and so on, and it will provide free hosting of the content. Writers only need to write; we’ll do the rest.

Are you a blogger? You are in luck then.

In order to start our second Beta stage, we are promoting the Five Dollar Wiki again with 5 free pages!

There are two ways you can get 5 free pages:

1. Write a blog post about Five Dollar Wiki with minimum 150 words

2. OR add one of our buttons to your sidebar or footer.

P.S. You can also earn a free page on our new EntreWiki. Check out the free pages for bloggers in detail here.

Erz wins another 10 pages for being the first to put buttons!

Erz wins another 10 pages for being the first to put buttons!2

One of our page-owners, Erz, wins another 10 free pages on the FiveDollarWiki for being the first to put on FDW buttons. Since he put 2 buttons and we are not greedy about our pages, we are awarding him with another TEN free pages worth $50! He also did win TWENTY free pages on our OneBuckWiki for being the first.

Do you have a blog or website? Put FDW buttons and you can win 5 free pages per button! :)

Why are we giving out so many free pages? Because we love our customer duh! :) (and we do realize that word-of-mouth is probably the most powerful marketing method out there today)

After messing around with some buttons over at OneBuckWiki, we found that people like them a lot and so we made them for FiveDollarWiki too.

Simply copy and paste the code below the buttons onto your website, blog, or whatever. If you put buttons, we will hook you up with 5 free pages.

Just send e-mail to free [at] fivedollarwiki.com after you paste it on your site. Happy buttoning! :)

101 Pages Sold!

Yey, we’ve sold over 100 pages! Although not as good as our sister paid wiki, OneBuckWiki, which has sold over 1000 pages within even a shorter period of time, we believe that FDW will grow much quicker in the next few weeks as we will be doing some new marketing campaigns.

In dollar amounts, we’ve sold $505 worth of pages while OneBuckWiki have sold $1105 worth of pages. Well, we are not too behind in terms of dollars.

We’ve put 100% money back into marketing and PR so page-owners are actually the ones running the show. We will keep putting 100% of revenues back into advertising until we have reached steady traffic.

Our newest paid-Wiki creation, OneBuckWiki sells over 800 pages in 6 days!

We will soon be launching big viral marketing for the Five Dollar Wiki this weekend when the OBW has sold 1000 pages.

Since OBW will be stopping sales for couple days to update the site, we are expecting to re-route traffic to Five Dollar Wiki as there are many pages available on the FDW still.

More updates will be coming soon.

Leave comments of what features you’d like to add to the site! :)

All right! We’ve sold 71 pages so far.

On the side note, our new OneBuckWiki has sold over 400 pages within 2 days of its launch!

We figure this is due to:

1. It’s only a dollar

2. The pages increase in value after every 1000 pages.

So, we are making changes to the Five Dollar Wiki as said here:

Price of one Page will follow the following schedule:

  • 1000 Pages sold – a new Page on the Five Dollar Wiki will be sold for $50
  • 2000 Pages sold – a new Page on the Five Dollar Wiki will be sold for $100
  • 3000 Pages sold – a new Page on the Five Dollar Wiki will be sold for $150
  • 4000 Pages sold – a new Page on the Five Dollar Wiki will be sold for $200
  • 5000 Pages sold – a new Page on the Five Dollar Wiki will be sold for $250
  • 6000 Pages sold – a new Page on the Five Dollar Wiki will be sold for $300
  • 7000 Pages sold – a new Page on the Five Dollar Wiki will be sold for $350
  • 8000 Pages sold – a new Page on the Five Dollar Wiki will be sold for $400
  • 9000 Pages sold – a new Page on the Five Dollar Wiki will be sold for $450
  • 10,000 Pages sold – a new Page on the Five Dollar Wiki will be $500

This just means that your page(s) bought on the FDW will be worth more as we sell more page(s).

Basically, we’d setup a pay schedule where each post will be worth more with number of pages sold.

You’d participate in another geuine ideas of the Zedomax Network. You will find a lot of off-beat topics and that’s what we are about, “Niche Online Company.”

The pyramid is a money pyramid in the Zedomax Network Logo. Me and my girlfriend made it and no one likes it but us…

Call us simple and stupid…. But somehow, I imagined this pyramid while sleeping in my dreams. So I just came up with a little Photoshop on making a Pyramid from scratch!

While we talk about making pyramids, it’s very fun once you learn it!

FOLKS, we are also selling permanent “lifetime” links on all of our blogs and social networking sites. We do the underground SEO math and use SEO Super strategy to get you on the first page or the second page by 15 days. This is great because a link on any our our 20 or so sites mean thousands of pages that will be linked to you with various keyword terms WE CHOOSE FOR you based on your target keyword.

We are not really selling any links here but letting you OWN a piece of our Zedomax Network. Right now, we have a special for $10K to get you on number 1 for your “TARGET KEYWORD OR KEYWORDS”. We will do all the deep linking and the good stuff and you get PR5, PR4, PR3, or websites that are rated to be PR5 in our network.

This will go well with Google since we are just looking for investors to our new company but how can we offer that? By trading services.

If you have any marketing or other SEO services and would like to trade for some “free” pages, please e-mail marketing [at] fivedollarwiki.com

Basically, we are looking for some bloggers to help us spread the word. Every one of you count and that’s part of viral marketing, yes, the blogsphere…we have built somethin’ haven’t we all

OneBuckWiki just launched!

The image “http://onebuckwiki.com/skins/sgumax/images/gumaxcomheader.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

After couple days of deliberation, we have launched a brand new site called, OneBuckWiki.com.

Basically the idea is the same except that you can buy a page for one dollar and that value of each page multiplies at every 1000 pages we sell.

This means that you can ultimately sell one page for $1000 when we sell 100,000 pages on the One Buck Wiki.

On the side note, we will continue to sell every page on the Five Dollar Wiki for just 5 dollars and that was the idea behind it.

The site was just launched so every keyword is available. We advice you to take action before we have sold the first 1000 pages when the price of each page will go upto $10!

fter every 1000 pages that are bought, price of each Page will increase in value.

Price of one Page will follow the following schedule:

  • 1000 Pages sold – a new Page on the One Buck Wiki will be sold for $10
  • 2000 Pages sold – a new Page on the One Buck Wiki will be sold for $20
  • 3000 Pages sold – a new Page on the One Buck Wiki will be sold for $30
  • 4000 Pages sold – a new Page on the One Buck Wiki will be sold for $40
  • 5000 Pages sold – a new Page on the One Buck Wiki will be sold for $50
